Changes in the works. Our Sales Manager is leaving so we will be promoting a couple people from within.
Our sleepy little calendar kiosk is still running without a register. No sense of urgency from the specialty store support people. My impression is that the specialty store side of the company is anything but special. The newsstand has the most pedestrian titles (even some of those we have yet to get more than a month after opening) and the calendar kiosk is run with the minimum (or less) help from home office. And what a sloppy system for handling cash and sales. Even the store sign they sent us was broken and taped together. And not much of a sign anyway. Day by Day Calendar Co.? Who's that? Us??

Well, so far it's been a lot easier to run than just about anything else.
Today I found one of our Title Sleuth information stations had never had the printer connected to it. There were several hundred documents in the print cue. The cable wasn't anywhere near the computer. Easy fix, but why wasn't it done before? Didn't anyone test these when they installed them?
OK, maybe I'm a little cranky tonight having to solve all the problems of my little world. It's late and time for bed...
