Tidy Up

Feeling like I'm on a long road away from home. Only one day off in
the past two/three weeks with almost another week to go until my next
day off. Loosing track of what day it is...

Worked through lunch yesterday but took ten minutes to visit the
little Japanese stationery on our floor and buy a couple pens. Some
of their papers are exquisite, and some of the pens are wonderful.
Nice break.

Got caught up on the dishes and trash and groceries and bills. Still
have many projects around the house on hold.

Sales seem to be doing well. Cafe is doing great, but I need to hire
more people (while cutting others hours). Everyone wants to work
mornings, and no one wants to work Sundays. Hello? Retail...!

Management team is getting really tired. A couple meltdowns. A few
getting sick. Still so many things to do in the store, but at least
this week I now have a desk...! There is still only one working phone
in the office, and only two computers, which makes it tough to keep
things neat. My house may be a disaster area, but I like my workplace
spic and span!
