What Day is it?

Finally a day back on the floor. Felt like I was away on vacation. In
a way, a nice break.

This month we are going to lose quite a few staff. It's actually
pretty nice of them to have waited until after the holiday, and I
really think many of them did exactly that! But it's interesting how
many people want to take a three week vacation after working for
three whole months. Speaking of which, it seems I have not taken any
vacation time for two years or so.

So our store is stocked to the gills with calendars. Lots of people
have been working to make the displays and keep things organized. We
basically go the calendars from the kiosk store because no one could
make a decision where they should go at the corporate level.
Yesterday, as well, I got the shipping labels and instructions for
how to close the kiosk down. Nice timing. Meanwhile, construction
STILL hasn't started in the space they kicked us out of.

Meanwhile I'm feeling a bit disoriented, sleeping in weird shifts. I
keep forgetting what day (but not date) it is. Maybe I should get a
calendar...
