EVICTED!

This morning the Westfield management company let us know they wanted
us completely out of our kiosk space by the end of the day. Nice of
them to let us know ahead of time... We were under the impression we
had until Friday, or even later. They claim a former Westfield
employee sent a letter to our corporate office in October changing
the date of our lease. No one seems to know anything about it. We
still haven't heard where to send our unsold calendars.

We got a one day extension before they wall up the front of the store
so they can demolish the space. So we scrambled and got everything
out except for the fixtures, old boxes, and trash. We took the
calendars to our store and a couple fixtures, too. Lots of people
pulled together to help. A couple of our management team flaked out.
Later someone suggested they were hungover...

I am sore and tired and sweaty and dirty. Didn't leave until 2 am,
then stood in the wind and cold rain waiting for a bus which took me
only most of the way home. Didn't help getting splashed by a taxi.
Needed to cool down anyway, I suppose.

Got to get up early tomorrow (in three hours) to take Robin to the
airport. It's my day off but I suppose I have to go in and finish
getting the kiosk fixtures packed and cleaned up.
