Good Nights Sleep

Thanks to the good folk at Union Square (Mary Ann, Elana) and Jared,
the schedule is done and I can rest easy (for a couple days) and
focus on other fiascos. This has been an experience of many people
helping, rising to the occassion. Staff has been incredible. Many
seem to thrive on helping during chaos. I try to make sure they know
that I know how much they're helping.

Today, after a very short shift at work (three or so hours) I was
able to take care of some bank business, shop for groceries (at last)
and go out to eat. Stefan (my Hong Kong buddy) is coming to town and
I'm getting all his CD's and DVD's for him to take back. I listened
to Slipknot tonight, driving around. Very aggressive heavy metal
stuff. Played very loud. Just what the doctor ordered. Good to see my
car was still where I parked it last week, the last time I drove it.

So the fridge and freezer and pantry are stuffed at last and we will
eat for a while.
