Rain Rain

Drove home through the worst rain I've seen in years, since I was a
kid and we drove through some hurricane, unable to even see the road,
or the line in the road!

Sheets of water, hydroplaning dozens of times, the car drifting
around the lane, terrible visibility, driving slow, yet the auto
transmition down shifting against the force of wind and rain.

Yet, something wonderful; the road to myself this late at night, like
a bathaspere deep under water.

Sat in my car when I got home. Turned off the engine and listened to the rain.

But...

It's good to be safe at home.
