MyPod

Finally, last week I bought myself an iPod. I've actually bought three others as gifts over the past year or so, and had to learn 'em well enough to get them to work for my friends and family.

I have to ask myself, now, what took me so long?! I'm loving it. But...

Yes, it takes some learning, some tweaking, and some time converting audiobooks and videos to work on it. But when done, it's a marvelous little education and entertainment center.

Hightlights:

-Listening to Miles Davis on the bus late at night on my way home from work.
-My son watching a cartoon while we drove to his friends house.
-Watching Malcolm Gladwell while waiting for the laundry.
-Playing Bejewelled while listening to an audiobook.
-Listening to an audiobook while walking two miles to work.
-Listening to Paul Oakenfold music while doing the dishes.

Lowlights:

-Loosing my place in an audiobook and not able to navigate back to where I was.
-Spending hours formatting audiobooks and videos to work on the iPod.
-Realizing that I don't really have that much spare time to listen to the hundreds of hours (actually over 100 days worth in my library!) of audiobooks, music, and videos I have.
