I decided to walk to Safeway yesterday, and pick up a MUNI Fast Pass for January. It's about 15 minutes walk. But they were out of passes so I decided to walk to work rather than pay the $1.50 for MUNI. It's about 2 miles and took about 50 minutes. This is one of my favorite buildings along the way.
Had a discussion about Caliope yesterday. First the musical instrument originally made from train whistles. Then the muse of the same name ("Beautiful Voice"), the muse of poetry.
Walgreens was out and the MUNI kiosk was closed, but I eventually got one during my meal break.
