Safeway

Slept 12 hours and feel much better. Haven't had anything to eat in
24 hours...

So I'm being pretty lazy today. Safeway is the only must-do on my
agenda today. That and see if I can make my own schedule tool in
Excel so I can work on it at home. Scheduling is the hardest part of
my job. I don't know why. It shouldn't be this hard. I've been doing
it for over a year. But getting the few hours uninterupted to work on
it has been a big challenge. I've been "hiding" at work, doing the
schedule when I'm not on the schedule myself, and working in the GM's
office, or the cash office (can you say doors?).

I think part of the problem is that I'm scheduling for three stores,
not counting the cafe, which is its own store, really, too. And since
we have so many new people not all of them are trained to run the
cash register. And Thanksgiving a week away...!

Opened the curtains today and am enjoying some sunlight.
