Six people out sick or just didn't show up for work last night. Kept me on my toes.
Here's a picture from our "overnight" when they tried to get caught up on all the late product that arrived for the store opening (while getting our holiday shipments at the same time). This is about the most empty I've seen our little stockroom since we opened.
Next day we got 8 more unexpected palates of product.
It's nice out today. Robin and his pal are up early (to take the GED) and made breakfast. I even opened the drapes in my room!
It's my day off, but I'll have to go in and finish next weeks schedule. You'd think it'd be pretty easy to do a schedule. It'd be pretty much like the week before... yet with all the changes from staff's availability, days off, and special coverage, it takes me about four hours to get done. I like to sneak in, work in the cash office so that almost no one knows I'm even there, so I can focus on it. Like I've said before, I like my job a lot better once I've finished the schedule.
OK, here's a couple more pictures from Stefan's visit. Perhaps the
best enchiladas I've ever had.
Tomorrow, the laundry!
