
Got to work to late to take a picture of the Calendar Kiosk (yeah, it's my day off, but I had to do the schedule). So I took this snap of our Newsstand.
Took me about six hours to get next weeks schedule done. Matter of getting the Kiosk right... I had to hide in the cash office and refused to take phone calls (follow ups to job apps). I like my job better once the schedule is done. Of course, now come the complaints about not enough hours, to many hours, not enough coverage, the wrong coverage... Glad I have tomorrow off, too...

despite lack of computers (they reduced us down from 9 to 2 down in the basement), I find it easier to send emails to applicants because those return phone calls always arrive when I'm on the registers or dealing with customers. Also in emails I can be specific about rate of pay, hours and the current blackout, job description, etc. Just an idea....
